^Well RIVER sold almost twice as much as it's predecessor, Iiwake Maybe. Then Sakura no Shiori outsold it by almost 200k and then Ponytail to Shushu succeeded that also by 200k. The jump from PtS to HR was a lot smaller but with the way this single has been "promoted" I think a 200K~300K jump from HR to Beginner is possible.
I definitely think they can clear 800K and I dunno whether I'm just being optimistic or overestimating them but I feel like they'll reach that million mark before the end of the year. Even if they don't, yeah like you said just selling 800k would still be a major accomplishment.
But in all honesty, I just really want to see a female artist(s) top this year's charts lol.
