We talked about Hikki yesterday in my sociolinguistics class.
The unit we're doing right now is about code-switching, and we were going over the finer points of using non-sensical Engrish in songs versus bilinguals writing their own lyrics and code-switching intrasentially between English/Japanese like Hikki does.
We looked at Eternally, In My Room, Addicted to You, etc. So fun.
