YesAsia's description of Aishiteru
After a quiet half-year, Hirai Ken kicked off the celebration for the 15th anniversary of his musical artist debut with a special Ken's Bar show in May 2010. To lead up to the release of his compilation album of coupling songs, the singer-songwriter is releasing two singles over two consecutive months. Aishiteru is the second single release, and the song serves as the theme song for the Japanese film Ghost - Mou Ichido Dakishimetai. To fit with the film's theme, Aishiteru is a touching ballad about continuing love for someone that has passed away. The song is produced by Tokyo Jihen's Kameda Seiji, who also produced hit ballads Hitomo wo Tojite and Boku wa Kimi ni Koi wo suru. In addition to B-side track air cameraman, the single also includes Hirai's cover of Unchained Melody (which was in the original Ghost film) and a remix of Boku wa Kimi no Koi wo Suru.
First Press Edition comes in the CD-Extra format (with bonus material that can be accessed when the disc is inserted into a computer), and it includes the Sing Forever music video.
