I think I know what it is. At another forum that uses VB3 it's called reputation. Members give each other either good or bad reputation. For every 100 points you get a green box displayed below your avatar, like this [I've outlined the boxes in red:
Members leave little messages for you, and they can be read when you go into your User CP:
I haven't seen anyone get bad reputation, as abusing that isn't allowed. It's a fun, nice thing to do.
