Looking at this tweet, I think ayu probably decided

yet. Kikuchi's reply basically said "It was a present, she can use it, but she can not use it too", which sounds to me like the demo didn't really impress ayu and she tossed it or something. If ayu was keeping it for future use and told him, the tweet would have been more optimistic than this.
