The Arcade Fire - Une Anee Sans Lumiere
...okay, so basically any Arcade Fire song. They all have a vice grip on my tender heart.
Whoooaaa did not expect to see a post of mine from 5 years ago

Anyway, now I'd say (in addition to Arcade Fire ):

Shiina Ringo - Shuukyou
- a brilliant song... it starts out mysterious, then makes your heart swell and at the end leaves you deflated, pondering, thoughtful. It holds my rapt interest for every second.

Shiina Ringo - Tsumi to Batsu
- a powerful blues ballad. You can feel her pain so deeply. Especially fun to belt out when I'm feeling down.

Cocco - Hi no terinagara ame no furu
- makes me feel hopeful and grateful somehow. lovely
