Yes, I agree with you, it's rushed and she didn't announce they were dating, but that doesn't mean they weren't. She doesn't have to share all her personal stuff.
This is not what it usually happens, specially on artists, but I doubt they didn't sit and think twice. This is not the kind of thing we do for boredom, and specially Ayu who is not the scandalous type. They just prolly saw it clear, and didn't feel like waiting.
