I kinda felt the same way, which makes no sense as I'm gay haha.
I don't think the feeling of change is not because she got married, but rather because she kept it all secret from us til it actually happened. For me anyway.
Ayu's has created a relationship with her fans which creates the illusion that she is very open with her personal life; her blogs are of her non-sense home life, her lyrics are always very personal, she tweets back to fans on twitter. So it came as a shock to find out she had hidden the fact she fell in love and was intent on getting married. I think feeling of "betrayal" stems from that, rather than the fact she got married. At least for me anyway.
Betrayal isn't the right word, I just can't think of it right now. I do feel ayu has changed, but thats what a lot of us wanted. Even though it's positive change (rather than being all clubby/drinking/drugs etc), change is always difficult for devoted fans.
