Girls' Generation (aka SNSD) have been successful in Japan and will be taking it by storm for the months to come. It was announced a few days ago that they will be releasing their 1st original Japanese single, "Mr. Taxi" (click here)
Kpop artists/bands have been known to release both Japanese and Korean versions of their songs when they debut in Japan but unfortunately, Girls' Generation won't be releasing "Mr. Taxi" in Korea. Their agency SM Entertainment have confirmed it, "...there is no plan to record the Korean version of Mr. Taxi or any promotional activities related to it in Korea." Moreover, the group will begin their first Japanese tour soon.
