To be honest I don't think guitarissimo is a perfect album.
Songs like
Friend,
Dear days, and
Samenai Yume has too much similarity in many way IMO.
Also, probably no one cares about this, the flow of the album is kinda weird.
The transition between
hys- to
Otoshimono is drastically changes.
It's the same as
chAngE to
megurogawa <strings version> the mood changes all of a sudden.
miwa doesn't have any ballad songs that really appealing to me. (Before the album released, I think
amayadori is the only ballad song I could enjoyed a lot)
But there's
Tsuyoku Naritai here, plus it has a supportive lyrics. (Probably she has only 2 songs with supportive lyrics so far, this song and
don't cry anymore not sure about
chAngE)
Anyway, despite all of that problems I mentioned before, I enjoyed this album a lot.
At first listen, I didn't enjoy the album that much, but after a few listen, it's quickly growing in me.
Songs like
arienai!!, hys-, hatsunatsu, Bokura no Mirai, and especially
Tsuyoku Naritai feels like a fresh air.
Songs I didn't enjoy a lot before like
Little girl, Otoshimono, and
Haru ni Nattara, quickly growing in me after listening to the whole album.
Overall, this is a great album, but it's not a perfect album from every aspect that it has.
Because of that, I'm looking forward to her next release, hopefully she can pull another great and catchy songs. (Where she can use either guitar or piano as a main instrument)
Just wait until she release a song with a piano-based instrument.
