ikr, people have to dig more to see the treasures in Korean music

If you want energetic dances, the mainstream is good.
bBt when you're looking for rock or beautiful ballads, try the indies or album filler tracks. They usually have nice ballads inside the album, despite the mainstream-styled promotional tracks. Like "ROMANTIC" by SHINee, Girls' Generation "Mistake", Yesung "It Has To Be You", etc
Dia - 울어도 울어도 (Cry Cry) 4/5
A pleasant ballad indeed. She has a soft voice but could produce powerful vocal for the chorus. I love it, soft and touching
Now I'll give you guys one of the great K-indie musicians, I'm listening. His name is Cha Seojong and he works under the name Epitone Project. He produces ballads, bossa nova, acoustic and instrumental tracks on his albums, he also loves photography so he put some of his snaps on the album booklet. They are beautiful

kinda draw the visual aspect of his albums.
