hahahahaha.... all of you think A LOT!!!! I have simpler explanation.....(right word?)

I think under the santa mask there was the snow man!... beacause he represents Christmas.... you know the MAGIC and all that!, right before he took his mask they show the scene of ayu holding the invitation.. that's what makes me think that way.

he was in disguise beacuase otherwise as a snow man would have freak everybody... and since everyone loves santa he got into a costume!!!! hahahaha Lol!

wel.. after all it's not that simple!!!! hehehehe!
