Since late March, Koreaboo has been reporting about miss A’s comeback but now JYP Entertainment representatives have officially spoken about the matter and confirmed the group’s return in May.

On April 26th, JYPE revealed that miss A would release a new album in mid-May and would resume their vigorous activities in Korea. Just like their debut album, the new album is being created under the direction of JYP. miss A are currently recording the JYP produced songs. After last year’s hit with “Bad Girl Good Girl," they are determined to surpass its popularity. They also expressed that miss A will garner a lot of attention not only with their singing but also with their trademark unique choreography.

The confirmation of their comeback came just one day after Min tweeted a funny photo of the members at the practice room with the message, "We are miss A."



Their comeback in May will be made 8 months after the release of their second mini album, “Step Up," which featured the title track “Breathe," known for its dynamic choreography that even included handstands. But miss A is most remembered for their debut single and mega hit “Bad Girl Good Girl," which took them to the first spots of the music charts as a rookie group. The single achieved record download sales and became Korea’s song of the year.

miss A's impact was so big that even producer Bang Shihyuk praised them on tvN "Baek Jiyeon’s People Inside" back in early March, saying that miss A was "Korea’s pop music history's greatest event," when asked to give his honest opinion about idols.

But as you may know already, spring is the season of the girl groups this year with more comebacks from popular girl groups set for May. Will miss A be able to rise above the rest?
