"E.T." tops the 3 million mark in digital sales this week. It's Perry's sixth song to reach that plateau, which is more than any other artist in digital history. Rihanna is in second place with five songs, a tally that includes both lead and featured performances. Perry has been in the lead position on all six of her 3-million-sellers.

Perry's songs to top the 3 million mark are (in chronological order) "I Kissed A Girl" (which is up to 4,046,000, per Nielsen SoundScan), "Hot N Cold" (4,878,000), "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg, 4,798,000), "Teenage Dream" (3,660,000), "Firework" (4,265,000) and now "E.T." (3,157,000).

"E.T." by Katy Perry featuring Kanye West dips to #2, but it's still a history-making week for the pop star, who becomes the first artist in the history of the Hot 100 to remain in the top 10 for a full year. Perry's streak began with "California Gurls" (featuring Snoop Dogg), which debuted at #2 in the week ending May 16, 2010. It has continued with "Teenage Dream," "Firework" and "E.T." (featuring Kanye West).
