I don't even know where to begin, really...
She's just...so sincere. Everything she says, everything that she does, everything that she writes...it's all 100% Ayu, and there's never anything fake with her. She puts her life out there for all of her fans to see, just so she can be close to them. She takes the time to write in English, a language that she isn't completely fluent in (yet!), just so she can communicate with her overseas fans. She recognizes all of her fans, and makes sure to try and keep everyone happy, nevermind all the drama. She isn't afraid to voice her opinion, and her opinion is always a wonderfully open-minded one.
She is an extremely versatile person who is never afraid to try new things or visit new places, or even do things that only a few people could love. She doesn't care; she just has fun with it and puts 100% of herself into it. She has grown into a strong, powerful woman, from the timid squeaky-voiced girl she was at the beginning of her career, and I'm so so proud of her for that, looking at where she is now. She's the only singer who's actually touched my heart, and I owe her everything for that.
Then, about her lyrics... Every single one is handwritten by Ayu, and no one but Ayu. She pours her heart into those lyrics, and it shows. It's like looking into Ayu's heart with each song. Like GUILTY, we knew that Ayu wasn't having the best moments of her life... And with Love songs, we knew that Ayu was in love, and she wanted everyone to know. She's just so...
real and I love her for it.
She's remained my favorite singer for all these 5 years because of all these reasons.. She's just such a wonderful person, and I think she is one of the people who do deserve to be famous and have nice things
