So this is only loosely related, but I forgot to mention that outside Shin-Yokohama Station on the day of the concert, there were anti-fur activists.
They were handing out papers (in a nice way--they were dressed as Disney characters, I had no idea what they were handing out until I got it) that said "FUR AWAY"--but when read in Japanese, it becomes "ファー アウェイ", or "Faa Awei", which is also how "Far away" is read/spelled in Japanese.
On the back of the flier, many fur goods, including fox tails, as popularized by Ayu, were pictured.
I just thought that was really interesting. haha. I can't help but think it wasn't coincidental
