I know this is stating the obvious, but
Shin Onimusha and
Final Fantasy IX are from completely different publishers. Not only that, but since the release of
FFIX, I think the
FF series has been pretty consistent with working out single releases about a week before the game's Japanese release. As a result, I'm not sure those games are relevant comparisons. Judging by your previous post,
Tales has been really consistent on its own, so I wouldn't worry too much.
