2NE1’s Dara prepares a special event for fans

2NE1’s Dara continues to excite fans as she promotes the group’s upcoming return to the music scene. Earlier today, it was revealed that Dara had specially prepared an event for fans prior to their official promotions for “I Am The Best.”

The event, titled “Find Director Park’s MP3 Player,” will begin today, the 21st, and run until tomorrow, the 22nd. On her me2day, Dara will be posting hints that will lead to a certain location, specifically a local Apple reseller store where 2NE1’s new song “I Am The Best” is uploaded to an iPad. Lucky fans who are able to locate the iPad will be able to listen to 2NE1’s new song before its official release.

Fans who find the iPad with 2NE1’s new song should upload a confirmation photo via me2day to be entered into a raffle in which the winner will be presented with VIP tickets to 2NE1′s first solo concert.

A while ago, Dara revealed her first hint through an update: “These days, it’s a place where the best bars are at!! UV went to Itaewon, but this is the place where the best G-Dragon and Big Star-nim went to have an affair~?!?”

A representative of YG Entertainment also commented, “2NE1′s Honorary President for Public Relations Department, Sandara Park, for a long time, had wanted to prepare a special event before they would start their broadcasting activities, so together with some of the agency’s employees, they got together for a few days and threw ideas around together. Sandara Park had this event for fans to participate in, for 2NE1′s new song ‘I Am The Best,’ so please expect it.”
