That's not my opinion about the album but I saw a review for Longing for on JPopAsia:

Can Rainie’s new album Longing For... triumph the success of her predecessor?

When I got through my first listen of Longing For, sad and disappointed was my impression. Rainie’s previous album was very good but this year’s was a bit lacking. Last year, two of her songs were used in the drama "Hi My Sweetheart" and both were very well composed and sung. This year, “Wo Men Dou Sha (我們都傻, We Are Stupid)” was also used in a drama "Drunken To Love You" (starring Joseph Cheng and herself). Even though the drama was well received, the song could have been better. The piano was beautiful but I felt there were not much “up and downs”.
“Yang Wang (仰望, Longing For)” is the first song in the album and it is a decent pop ballad. Along with “We Are Stupid”, this track has parts with a lot of piano. “Lovelution” is an upbeat pop song that otherwise is nothing too special. If I had to really pick a song that stood out, it would be “Jie Jia (結痂, Scab)”. It reminded me of an F.I.R. styled song with its heavy guitar and overall use of different instruments. The way Rainie hits the high notes was also similar to F.I.R.’s vocalist, Faye (but of course Faye does it much better).
Rating: 3/5
(+) More than half the album is made up of ballads
(+) The piano in the first two songs
(-) Bland
(-) Her 2010 album overshadowed this year’s

Don’t get me wrong; this album is not bad at all. Considering Rainie Yang is one of the most celebrated artists in Taiwan, the quality is in the album. But to me, it is lacking quite a bit. I was expecting a much greater album. I felt “We Are Stupid” wasn’t as epic as “Rain Love” when I heard it in the drama. This album is still worth a listen for fans of C-pop and a definite purchase for any Rainie fan out there!
It's the first time I see someone happy that there are a lot of ballads in an album XD

BTW I found the original version of Lovelution.
Click on "Lovelution" lol
