In terms of amounts of actual tracks sold, the digital market represents many more units in the us than number of physical CDs sold, but this makes hardly any money per track compared to physical releases. That's why japan is closing in on the US and Germany took UK's position on the list mainly. I'm sure the per capita numbers have been going down a lot for the countries where digital sales are almost as important as physcal sales.
