I've never understood all this hate towards FUNKY TOWN.
To me it's one of the first songs I ever heard along with Baby Don't Cry. I really love FUNKY TOWN because it makes me feel good whenever I'm sad or depressed.
By the way, it's funny that when I first listened to Namie, I didn't like Queen of Hip-Pop and PLAY at all. I did download those back in 2007 and thought she's boring as hell. Then, almost just about year later in May 2008 I turned into a obsessed Namie fan after I listened to WHAT A FEELING, SWEET 19 BLUES, SO CRAZY and ROCK STEADY. I realized she's awesome and downloaded every single album there was at the time. XD
I sometimes wonder how much plays she might have if I had last.fm account in 2008. She might be the #1 most played artist because most of 2008 was spent listening to Namie anyway. <3
