not sure about the younger gen like those around 10 year olds but i think Ayu has made a much greater impact in terms of popularity. from what i know, ayu is more recognised- they know who is she, how she looks, what she does though they dont listen to her but for snsd, they probably only heard of them but not sure much about them except that they are another kpop grp. Mostly because ayu has built her reputation throughout the years and snsd has been ard much shorter time.
