That wasn't really rude, it was true. There was no way for her to know that apparently you have the ability to sing anywhere from basso profundo to whistle-tone soprano. She was probably just expecting you to simply answer with your typical voice part. Instead you lashed out a little bit, calling names and acting like, well DUH of COURSE everyone should know that you can sing every note on a piano.
Sooo yeah. I can see how an apology might be in order there. :/
