Most people criticising their Japanese speaking abilities, aren't even Japanese (wth).
My friend Yuki, who's Japanese, has told me that every single song on the mini-album is flawless. She said they haven't pronounced a word incorrectly in any of their songs. So I don't really understand why some people think they can make the criticism that their Japanese sounds funny. The only reason you think it sounds funny is because you're used to the songs being in Korean.
EDIT: This isn't aimed at anyone on this forum by the way or anyone in particular. It's just aimed at many people I've seen commenting on their youtube videos
