Arashi’s Jun Matsumoto shows some magic in new commercial
Arashi’s Jun Matsumoto will play a gentleman from the land of chocolate in his next commercial, it was revealed on October 2, reports Oricon.
Chocolate company Meiji is celebrating 85 years since their Meiji Milk Chocolate slab went on sale for the first time, and have chosen Matsumoto to star in their next commercial. In the commercial, the Arashi star talks to little girl on a train platform. He tells her about how her mother, and her mother’s mother had eaten the chocolate. He then performs a magic trick to make some chocolate appear.
It has been reported Matsumoto had spent a lot of time practicing his magic trick during the filming day with a professional magician.
“I’ve got the magic sorted out, but I’m worried whether I can do it while saying my lines,” he said.
No worries as the Johnny’s talent pulled off another perfect performance.
Meiji chocolate’s new commercial goes on air in Japan on October 4.
