B1A4 recently revealed that they were making plans to debut in Japan and a release could be as early as next month? But at that point nothing was confirmed. Now it is official as they have signed a contract with Japan’s Pony Canyon!

A representative from Pony Canyon revealed the deal and said, “We were struck by their debut album, which featured high-quality music, smooth choreography, and instinctive fashion.” They continued, “Although they are rookies, we struck a deal based on their future potential as the best Hallyu stars. Jang Geun Suk has also complimented B1A4 on their future potential.”

(Jang Geun Suk is currently under the management of Fujisankei Communications Group, which owns Pony Canyon)

B1A4 will begin their Japanese activities on December 9th with a showcase at Sinagawa Stellar Ball in Tokyo and will release their Japanese album in January 2012.
