Tackey denies girlfriend rumours
After a gossip magazine had reported it had evidence Hideaki Takizawa was dating a non-celebrity, the singer himself denied the claim at a press conference in Tokyo on November 1, reports Sponichi Annex.
Last October, gossip magazine “Friday” had reported Tackey was dating a non-celebrity woman who looked like Japanese talent Akane Osawa.
At a press conference for his and team member Tsubasa Imai’s latest concert tour in Tokyo yesterday, Tackey gave the press an explanation.
“She’s a friend. We’re absolutely not dating.”
The singer also took the opportunity to apologise to his fans.
“All it’s done is make my fans worried,” he said.

Tackey & Tsubasa plans for an Asia tour in 2012
Johnny’s duo Tackey & Tsubasa will celebrate their 10th anniversary next year and have big plans in store, the two revealed at a press conference in Tokyo on November 1, reports Chunichi Sports and Sports Hochi.
The two kicked off the Tokyo leg of their concert tour yesterday, performing 35 songs in front of their fans. One surprise was a performance of their upcoming single “Heartful Voice” during which 20,000 white balloons were released into the concert hall for their 15,000 fans.
The two talked about the free concert they performed in Ishinomaki city, which was hit hard by the tsunami in March, and their plans for the future.
“The locals were really supportive. We’re celebrating 10 years since our debut next year, I hope we can go on tour, starting with concerts in the Tohoku area,” Tsubasa Imai said.
“When we visited Taiwan before our debut, we promised our fans that we’d be back so I want to go on an Asia tour [next year],” Hideaki Takizawa said.
Speaking of celebrations, Tsubasa also talked about the birthday dinner Tackey had arranged for him on his 30th birthday last month.
“I got nervous, I mean, really? Just the two of us in a Chinese restaurant? Then he arranged a limo to take us to the second restaurant. I felt like I was in ‘Sex and the City’,” he said.
“Well, I never get a chance to sit down and talk to him,” Takizawa said.
