Hey! Say! JUMP’s Ryosuke Yamada to play the perfect son in upcoming drama
Hey! Say! JUMP’s Ryosuke Yamada will team up with actress Kyoka Suzuki in an upcoming winter drama “理想の息子 (Riso no Musuko, the Ideal Son)” it was announced on November 24, reports Oricon.
This comedy drama follows a single mother who’s down on her luck with men. She’s never found the right guy, and even though she marries the father of her son, he soon divorces her. Her plan now is to raise her son so that he will love her enough to buy her a house and look after her when she’s old. Fast forward a few years, and now Daichi is at high school student who’s proud to say, “my favourite type of woman is someone like my mum”.
But in real life, Yamada says he is a mama’s boy like his TV character, but is excited about working on the drama.
“I know she’s (Suzuki-san) playing my mother, but even so I think I’ll get nervous because she’s very beautiful.
“This is my first comedy so as I’m reading the script, I’m also studying about it.”
Other’s Johnny’s talents to co-star with Yamada in the drama include Kis-My-Ft2′s Taisuke Fujigaya, who will play Yamada’s senior at school, and Hey! Say! JUMP’s Yuto Nakajima.
The drama will go on air in Japan from January 2012.
