Jan-Feb (New Beginning)
It marks a new start, the photo can make a statement actually. Ayu’s pose if full of confidence and strength that to me ads to the background, I’d say the background could be held as a symbol of well….liberty (lol) the liberty of doing what you feel like too, we all know how much she got through over this year. The outfit is also a little punkish but quite on a mature side which say that she might be rebelliously making decisions that are RIGHT to HER, red and black is usally symbols of strength and power, plus showing the passion, maybe passion for all she’s doing? , she doesn’t look like herself to me (maybe just a bad frame lol) in the photo as if she’s saying I can be whomever I want cuz it my own life, and It’s ok if not everyone accepts me as I am.
March –April (Waiting to bloom)
This is probably the most obvious to me. She's in her mid 30's the most beautiful age for a woman (in my oppinion). The blooming of spring, of freshness, simplicity and natural, earth colors. She does wear make-up but just to highlight her naturally beautiful features, just like beautiful snow starts melting and showing off the newly grown grass. It’s the freshness. Even her pose reminds me of still not yet bloomed flower curled up waiting for the moment for the sun to come out. ^_^
May-June (Time to shine)
The photo is so rich in colors and contrasts, it’s like when in already deep summer everything is just so overwhelming, the flowers the trees, the sky - everything just shines in the whole of them. Ayu is fully bloomed flower saying it’s time to shine, do it while you still can. But she’s a city flower, city full of overwhelming things, colors and emotions, you have to be bolder than ever to be noticed, you have to shock, to be pompastic to make people look back at you, and she pulls that off wearing that huge like bloomed flower dress. You have to be as bright as possible to be the one attracting the most amount of bees.
July-Aug (Last days for fun)
This is the highlights of the summer, just enjoying the last days of the warmth and good weather, going and having fun with friends, being light and ready for the autumn to come.The colors little by little turn to pastels that will be back into the earth palete, and the light hearted attitude to more matured and thoughtful again. So, wearing a light dress ready to run around, she’s sharing the bright smile like the last glimpse of the yellow sun, inviting to enjoy the last days of sunshine.
Sept-Oct (Greet The Autumn)
The mood here changes from sparkly too more settle down. Wind suddenly appears in the surroundings and you need to hold onto your hat to not lose it. She’s looking a little wild here with the long hair and animal print like the strong autumn winds, still standing firm and assured of her own ground, and her face turned into more serious expression. As if saying “enough fooling around, time to get serious”. (School? College?? Anyone lol)
Nov-Dec (The Classic Winter)
Stepping into the colder weather soon turning into the glittering mirrors of ice. She’s standing there in a quite romantic scenery, in a classic dress and simple styling, the dress reminding of the snow, with a statuesque pose. Winter is always like that it comes quickly and turns everything into the sculptures of ice, let alone bringing the most beautiful celebrations of the year. Simplicity, coziness and romantic (in Japans case lol). Classic Ayu calling everyone for a heart warming celebrating and season full of hope and love (cheesy I know but isn’t that exactly what people are expecting in this season?
