Sexy Zone

On September 29th, 2011 the formation of new Johnny's unit Sexy Zone was announced during a Kis-My-Ft2 concert at Tokyo's Imperial Theater. The group has been appointed as special supporters for the FIVB Volleyball World Cup to be held in Japan in November, following a tradition that was started by V6 in 1995 and followed by groups such as Arashi (1999), NEWS (2003), and Hey!Say!JUMP (2007). Their debut single - also called Sexy Zone - will serve as image song for the 2011 World Cup.
