I have to agree with what everyone has said about the whole kuu being hated thing. The younger generation in japan all love her. She's always cheered when she goes to concerts, even more so recently, and her concerts are always sold out. Ai wo tomenaide was #1 digitally for ages, and sold well digitally, and then love me back actually sold more physical copies than Ai wo tomenaide, and did well digitally.
I have seen some fans on FB go 'oh she's going to sell low because of the whole pregantcy and marriage', but personally I thought the whole thing would actually boost her sales. People love it in japan when someone gets married, and she is all over the news at the moment. And JAPONESQUE has a lot to offer, the most to offer since Kingdom, so I think it should well.
I think it should definately sell well over 200k, I'd be very surprised if it didn't.
And I don't think her image can be that hated, considering her Secret live tour 2005 (first tour) was the best selling concert DVD ever to date, only just been taken over by AKB8 by a small 1000 sales this year.
I think it's just the older generation that scorn it.
Also, Dejavu Tour was AMAZING! I was blown away. I loved all of it, by far her most fierce and best performance to date. Her singing for the ballads were excellent, she lit the hall on fire with her voice. I have never seen her perform so well! And that's saying something! I loved this tour, it was so much better than i expected. She was epic! Can't wait to see it in full.
