I think you misunderstood what I said. I don't make any esthetic judgements about those photo in my comment. I don't say if they're nice or ugly. & It's not because of the comment above me that I said that.
what I mean is Leslie Kee want to innovante about the posture of the model. When he made a photo for a magazine, his work stay classic. But that kind of books is more his own book & it's why he want to do something else that nobody make before him. He does it as the pictorialist or others artists did before him. I compare his work to others contemporary art that are often provocative.
My first sentence was just a little joke to introduce my historian view & not my own taste about them.
