I said 1080I is slightly better than than 720p, NOT 1080p.
420i < 420p < 720p < 1080i < 1080p

If anyone really thought these PV's were going to be 1080P and not 1080I they had another thing coming, only one of her convert Blu-Rays is 1080P, the rest are I.

I have a 42 inch 1080p TV and I can certainly tell the difference, but if they are 720p upscaled to 1080i, that just doesn't make sense to me. One's progressive and the other is interlaced, if you're going to upscale a 720p, it would be easier to turn it into 1080p than 1080i.
