Okay, I was like you and I knew I read it somewhere and it was wiki!

So i go to the quote that it was taken from and it was a BBC news article talking about her deafness in one of her ears... so this article was written back in January of 2008.. the article itself says that she was near 50 million... so I'm thinking it could of been anywhere between 47 to somewhere over 48 since she is soooo close to 50 million right now...
