Japonesque is French and means something western that's influenced by japanese culture and style. I've read that the French also use it to name a certain style in art, don't know much more though.

The term totally decsribes Kuu and her music. She's a westernized japanese artist, from the start till now; the new album shows it great, western styled songs with japanese influences.
