Well, you don't have to buy it all at once...
I think they probably want to release it in a large book format, hence the separate release. They could bundle it as well but seeing as how the announcement was separate, that seems unlikely.
I would hope Ayu is never like Utada.
Ayu's releases seem to follow a very obvious pattern, but she/her team sometimes falls behind so things end up getting released in bundles. Like whenever a new album or single comes out, there's a concert too. I think it's just easier this way even if it seems like a lot. For some of these things, you don't have to buy them immediately but I guess their thought process behind it is that if they are out at the same time, someone at the store will pick them both up for sake of convenience.
