Yeah, when you listen to Pink Friday, there are some super pop songs, like Super Bass, then you have like, hardcore rap songs. Its all kinda random. I'm sure they were all done at different times. People probably like her hip hop flavor, but in the end, the masses want pop. Like Demi Lovato, she's a pop artist who uses elements of rock in her music, but no one would ever say she's "rock". Or the whole "trance" or "club" song trend. They are not true trance, there is a lot of pop mixed in.
To be honest, I don't want things to be too simple. The reason I love singers like Kuu and Ayu is because I love how they are over the top, but still genuine. Everything with Kuu is eye candy, even when its simple, like Suki de x3 covers. But, when she talks, its like she's your best friend. That's where I hope music goes.
