Electro-pop trio Perfume has announced that they have transferred to Universal Music Japan! Additionally, they’ve also revealed that they will be releasing their new single, “Spring of Life“, this spring.
The title track has already been picked up as the CM song for ‘Kirin Chu-hai Hyouketsu‘. For the CM, Perfume held their very first overseas shoot in Los Angeles, California. The CM will broadcast starting on February 29th.
“Spring of Life” described as an upbeat tune that is perfect for this spring season. It will also be distributed in Chaku-Uta form on February 29th.
To coincide with the label transfer, Perfume will officially kick off their activities overseas. For their first project, the girls will release their latest album, “JPN“, on iTunes Stores in 50 countries starting on March 6th.
Additionally, Perfume has launched an official global website for their overseas fans. Through the music and imagery on this site, Perfume will share the talents of Japanese creators throughout the world. The site will be linked with both Facebook and Twitter to build a friendly community for overseas fans.
Furthermore, Perfume has opened up their very own official YouTube channel. Their channel will feature video clips and tv spots, which will be available to 192 countries worldwide.
