as for Kuu, I believe till FFX-2 & real EMOTION her promotion & stuff wasn't much
but I guess after that they started to reinvent the promotion strategy and make her ero to oppose the usual cute kawaii suagar image jpop is, and they had amuraa already for Namie, so I guess it was a good point to make Kuu stand out with her aka X-tina 'Dirrty' image + usual kawaii part to be still appealing to jpop, kind of
