She really needs to switch to exclusive rock for this voice and maybe the autotune thing. The La-la's are the best she's ever had. I love them. Lyrics would ruin it and it definitely makes it an Ayu song. I feel like this is the answer to November. Honestly there was so much love in November, and reminds me really sounds like the pain she feels being "reminded". She's still that little bird from November, singing her heart out to the extreme in this song, as she flies away from Mannie's shoulder.
Interesting. I do think the "la la la"s are delivered nicely; I just wish they didn't take up so much of the song. I find that their impact is lessened because of this. If she sang lyrics for, say, the first chorus (or whatever you want to call that part) and then sang la la la for the next one, I think the impact would be greater. My first reaction was, "did she run out of ideas? Did she get lazy? What happened to half the song?" However, I understand your perspective--maybe Ayu wanted to sing her emotions without any words.
