SID to sing theme song for “Sadako 3D”
On March 16th, visual kei band SID held a live concert at Zepp Tokyo, where they announced that they will be providing the theme song for the upcoming horror movie, “Sadako 3D“.
The song, titled “S“, will be released as a new single on May 9th. This will be SID’s first time to sing a theme song for a movie.
“Sadako 3D” is the sequel to “The Ring” series and is based on an original story by Suzuki Koji. It stars Ishihara Satomi, Seto Koji, Takahashi Tsutomu, Sometani Shota, Takara Hikari, Yamamoto Yusuke, and Tayama Ryousei.
During the concert, SID performed their upcoming singles, “Nokoriga“(May 2nd release) and “S”, exciting the crowd of 2,700 fans. The show also featured a special appearance by ‘Sadako’, from the film.
Scenes from this concert can be found in the DVD that will come with the limited edition of “S”.
