Did anyone say "k-pop is contributing new things to music" in this thread? I don't think so.

It's not about whether or not it's musically innovative, it's about the fact that listening to k-pop for the first time after listening to and tiring of j-pop for years and years can be very fresh and fun.

If you're not a music snob, that is.
