I think you're right. I was just telling one of my gay friends that I'm the only straight person that I know who likes her, everyone else is gay

. My gay friends say that the like that she actually talks about homosexuality too, and isn't totally passive in her gay icon role, as some divas are. Like, how she will address it in interviews and appears in publications such as Out Magazine. And she raps things like "F♥♥♥ who you want, and f♥♥♥ who you like", which is my personal favorite lyric from her, so she even addresses it in her lyrics, in a sense. Also, she did work with MAC for AIDS, worked with Madonna and such.
