Your fans are your harshest critics.

They shouldn't treat Ayu like crap, obviously, but I don't know... Ayu's "whatever" responses all the time to even sensible and polite critique is really alienating. There's a fine line between doing what you want and coming across as not caring about your fanbase.

Without a fanbase, you're nothing. I don't think Ayu quite realises that, or if she does, it's probably come on very strongly over the past year or so.
