It would only be a cover if she used the lyrics of the original song. Taking and using the melody is not a cover, it's more like an adaptation, and Ayu has done it before.
Johnny Cash's Hurt and Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You are covers(better than the originals). They just sung the original song and didn't change anything.
Now, Seven Days War was a cover that Ayu did. I don't know if she's even done five covers total. Anyone know how many she's done?
