I think that a large portion of Kuu's fanbase is gyaru too. She's in gyaru magazines a lot, like Edge Style and Popteen and she's the favorite singer of a lot of the magazine models. She is especially popular with AV gyaru, because of her sexy look. When I look at the faces in the crowds of her tours, I see a lot of gyaru. I would say that Ayu is the younger and cuter gyaru, probably Popteen and Ranzuki readers, but Kuu is for what it known as onee-gyaru, the more mature gyaru who read magazines like Edge Style and Happie Nuts. I think that its Kuu's sexiness and womanliness that makes her more popular with mature gyaru and office ladies.
