I'm happy to see that Namie seems to have great things in store for her 20th anniversary! The part of the statement "the first album" indicates to me that there may be another album release this year! That would be amazing, especially since it took forever for this new album to come out. I'll just wait and see though before I set myself up for disappointment for jumping to conclusions, lol.
