For people not knowing him(if you belong to these people you need to get an education in modern music lol): Marcus Miller is an African-American jazz musician and composer, best known for being possibly the most important bassist in music history. He plays many more instruments, but is notable for performing with virtuosity when it comes to the Bass and even having invented some techniques that are all over Pop, Rock, Jazz and Swing now.
I didn't realize he had a new album out, but seeing how he DOES it will probably be the best out of that list.
