Kis-My-Ft2’s Fujigaya Taisuke to star in first solo CM for “Shinikare”
It has just been revealed that Kis-My-Ft2’s Fujigaya Taisuke will be starring in first solo commercial for NOTTV’s mobile drama “Shinikare“!
Fujigaya Taisuke, who’s seen a huge increase in his popularity, will be challenging his first commercial on his own to promote the upcoming drama. Two versions will air on TV in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyushu, and Okinawa – a “feeling” version and a “sleeping” version.
Dressed completely in white, Fujigaya will lay down in a carpet-like stretch of pure white roses laid out on the ground, while closing his eyes, giving the commercial a beautifully dream-like feel.
“Shinikare” is a series of fifty 15-minute episodes written by popular screenwriter Nojima Shinji. Actress Kiritani Mirei will play a receptionist named Ruriko alongside Fujigaya. “Living, dying, falling in love, coming to hate things, it’s a world with those different sides of the same coin. Overall, it’s become a work with very deep subject matter. I’ll be doing extreme scenes and lines for the very first time too,” said the idol about his new challenge.
Fujigaya and Nojima had previously come together for the NTV serial drama “Risou no Musuko” in January. Nojima was impressed by Fujigaya’s performance in the drama and is happy to work with the young idol again. “It’s Mr. Nojima’s screenplay, so it’s something that’ll make you think,” commented Fujigaya on the upcoming drama. “I’d love for lots of people to feel something [when they watch this].”
The drama begins distributing on May 28th.
