Just because US and Japanese artists have a different work ethic than Korean artists doesn't make them any less passionate about their music. To be quite honest, people could also feel the same about Korean artists as they tend to have less control over their image and music (most of them don't write their own music and the companies they work for tend to determine their image) but even then, that wouldn't make them as a whole less passionate as the amount of passion a person has towards something is more of an individual thing than something that could be summarized about a whole country. Overall, the comment comes across as a bit snooty and insulting.

Agreeing with you here completely. She's been working with Will.i.am and they did that song with m-flo to just name a couple. She's being very insulting to these people who are trying to be friendly and work with them. Even will.i.am has been working on helping them prepare to debut in Europe & America. Also, he's not a singer, but Jeremy Scott loves them and is doing a lot for them all as well.
Btw, where is this interview? I cant find it.
